FWC OFFICERS ASSOCIATION SECOND ANNUAL FISHING TOURNAMENT

Goal: A fun family event for FWC employees, relatives, and friends while raising money for our non-profit FWC Officers Association. 

Date/Time: August 7th, 2021 / 7:30am – 4:00pm

Location: Homestead Bayfront Park 

9698 SW 328th ST, Homestead, FL 33033

Ceremony: 4:00pm – 5:30pm

Live Music / Food & Drinks: 5:30pm – 8:00pm

Rules for Entry:

  • Must have team entered and paid for by COB July 16th, 2021
  • At least one team member must be a current, past, or immediate family member of a past/current FWC Employee
  • $400 entry fee for each vessel (includes tournament shirts for team, 6 max)
  • Teams must provide own vessel and team name
  • Anglers must have necessary individual license if applicable 

Tournament Rules:

  • Teams will compete for biggest Dolphin caught (weighed with certified scale upon return)
  • Tournament starts at 7:30am (lines in water) and teams must be back to dock at 4:00pm
  • Teams not back to the dock at 4:00pm will not be eligible for biggest Dolphin cash prizes
  • At least one team member must attend the mandatory Captains meeting held on Friday August 6th, 2021 at the Homestead-Miami Speedway at 6:30pm (all anglers welcome) 
  • All participating vessels must start and finish the tournament out of Homestead Bayfront Park
  • Number of anglers per team must not exceed the vessel’s weight/person limit
  • Additional Rules may be added

Prizes:

  • 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners will be determined by biggest Dolphin (weight)
  • Woman Angler (1) – prize TBD for biggest Dolphin caught by Lady Angler
  • Future Generation Angler (1) – prize TBD for biggest Dolphin caught by Angler under 16 years old
  • Various prizes from Sponsors will be raffled off during Ceremony

Local Info for Teams/Anglers Traveling to Tournament:

  • Homestead-Miami Speedway will provide a gated lot for vessel storage for Friday and Saturday nights.  Lot has 24/7 security.
  • Several Hotels in area.  
  • Homestead Bayfront Park launch fee – $17
  • Homestead Bayfront Park Fuel/Bait Shop opens at 7am 
  • Several gas stations and 24 hour bait shop in area (will provide info after out of town teams enter)
